Meet Adele and Nellie – our latest FURRY FRIENDS of the WEEK! (1/16/17)

Adele is a very sweet, social lady who loves to snuggle in your lap and enjoy quiet time watching television! She also enjoys going for walks, riding in the car and playing with her toys. Adele is very food motivated, knows sit already, but would do well with positive reinforcement training. Toys are her favorite and she doesn’t always like to share, so we are working with her on trading a toy for a treat. She may do well in a home with other pets, but all resources would need to be separated. Miss Adele is currently living in a foster home, because her foster Mom fell in love. Nellie is a 9-year old spayed female that came to us through a cruelty investigation back in May of 2016. She was featured at the Lite Rock 105 Pet of the Week in June, but she is still at the RISPAC waiting for a new home! When she first came in, Nellie had some pretty big matts along her back that needed to be shaved but the fur has now grown back in. Nellie is a pretty independent lady that really dislikes the other cats in the cat room. We also think she would probably prefer to be an only pet without any small children in the home.
