Meet Penny and Rocky, our latest FURRY FRIENDS of the WEEK! (4/16/18)

Adopt them today at the RISPCA!

Penny is a big girl with a heart to match! She’s a staff favorite at the RISPCA!  Miss Penny came to us from Coventry Animal Control, where she was also a staff favorite!  Her friends at Coventry thought a change of scenery might be nice since she was with them for quite some time.  She’s a big, friendly lap dog who is a bit of a couch stealer (so you want to make sure you have a big couch!). She’s smart and already knows a few of her commands like sit, paw, and down!  She is also VERY treat motivated so she’d love to learn more tricks if it involved her getting some cheese or a piece of hot dog!   🙂 Penny would like to be an only pet in the home, but her love is all you will need!

Rocky is a cute little 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He’s an active dog that may be a little shy at first but he will warm up to the right person. He was brought in to the RISPCA because his previous owner’s landlord did not allow pets but he might not mind a dog friend of his own (not sure about cats though). He would, however, prefer an adult only home.
