Meet Floyd and Gia! Our FURRY FRIENDS of the WEEK! (03/04/19)

Adopt them today at the RISPCA!

GIA: You probably heard about the puppies that came to us from a kill shelter in Texas… well, they didn’t come alone! This is Gia and she’s one of the 4 adults dogs we’ll be featuring whom unfortunately would have been euthanized for no other reason but space where they came from. Boy, are they happy to be in Rhode Island at the RISPCA! Gia is a boxer who is a cuddler with a capital “C”. She loves to play and would live a family to play with her! We think she’d do best in a home with children 10+, she would be just fine with another dog as well (we don’t know about cats though).

Floyd is an 8-year-old male cat who is said to be friendly and affectionate! From the RISPCA: “I’m a very simple boy. All I want is a nice snuggly human to be next to all the time. And tuna treats. And fluffy beds. Well, maybe I’m not so simple! I’m Floyd, and I’m a handsome middle-aged easy going little gentleman. I have lived with other cats before, but I have a big personality, so if you have a resident furry friend a proper introduction is a must! I can be a little shy at first, but you will always know where I am because you will be able to hear me purr from the next room over. I’m not really into playing with toys, my favorite thing is just to be close to you. I am startled by new things and loud noises so I would do better in a home with little to moderate activity.”
